Capabilities

What the orders workspace is designed to do

Order count, units and status

Daily orders and units with a status split — shipped, unshipped, pending, canceled — as of the data time. One order can contain several units, so both are shown.

Date ranges and comparisons

Last 7, 30 or 90 days, or a custom inclusive range, compared with the equally long period before it. If the prior window isn’t covered, no comparison is shown.

Asynchronous report lifecycle

Order history reports are requested, processed by Amazon and downloaded later. KEYXE tracks each state openly instead of pretending results are instant.

Delivery and export

Completed reports can be summarized in the workspace and exported to CSV or JSON. In the demo, exports are labeled synthetic on every row.

Errors and failed reports

A failed or cancelled report is shown with its reason and a retry option. Partial data is flagged, not silently filled with zeros.

Limits on personal information

KEYXE’s order analytics do not need buyer names, addresses, emails or phone numbers, so restricted data is not requested. Any such column that ever appeared would be dropped and flagged.

Report lifecycle

Four states, shown honestly

  1. STATE 1

    Requested

KEYXE asks Amazon to prepare a report for one seller, marketplace and period.

  2. STATE 2

    In queue / processing

Amazon builds the report asynchronously. KEYXE waits rather than polling aggressively.

  3. STATE 3

    Done

The report document is downloaded once, validated and stored with its period and “as of” time.

  4. STATE 4

    Cancelled or fatal

Failures are shown as failures, with the reason when Amazon provides one — never as an empty success.

This demonstration contains no real customer or buyer data. Order counts and statuses are generated from a seeded synthetic dataset.
